A large-scale late 19th, early 20th century Ottoman Turkish Asian tinned copper round tray platter.
Antique Turkish tinned copper circular form tray with deeply scalloped hand-hammered edge, with incised decoration consisting of a central medallion, geometric patterns and interlocked straps.
Very unusual handcrafted dark metal color Persian style tray platter with fluted edge we can see the copper showing through probably after years of cleaning and rubbing the metal.
The tinned copper bronzed dark patinated metal tray is hand-etched and hand-hammered with interlacing geometrical and floral Moorish designs.
Circa 1900 or earlier. Turkey.
Dimensions 33.5" D × 1.80" H.
