Islamic pottery vessel hand painted in splashes of colors in green, saffron yellow and teal floral decoration, very modern and abstract naïf composition.
Tin-glazed Persian style earthenware with a lustre glaze, made in Spain.
Narrow foot and conical shape.
There are three small visible spur marks inside of the bowl, indicating the stacking firing in the kiln.
Partial glaze to underside. In the style of Kashan or Sultanabad, circa 1200-1300 AD, Reference P. Pal, 'Islamic Art', 1974.
