Hand Painted Middle Eastern Moorish Style Photo Album, 19th Century

Antique Middle Eastern Qajar style Moorish picture photo album, with hand painted miniatures on the cover. This fine Middle Eastern Moorish style scrapbook is hand painted with 22-karat gold, with wonderful landscape scenes with figures, elaborate borders details, scenes with figures in a garden and details of hunting scenes. The covers of the album both front and back are covered with very finely detailed hand painted miniature with intricate designs, figures, animals, flowers, Antique Islamic lacquer papier maché, enamel central plaque depicting a scene of architectural Middle Eastern with a royal couple wearing period costumes enjoying a drink with musicians playing around them. The design in the back is different from the front. It contains 14 pages. Dimensions: 17" x 9" x 1.5". Late 19th Century.
